Clinical Dietitian Opportunity

Western Health is seeking a qualified dietitian to join its team at Footscray Hospital.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying and managing patients with Malnutrition across the hospital, aligned with the Western Health Malnutrition Strategy.
This newly created role will have a major focus on acute clinical experience and managing surgical patients. The ideal candidate will have some experience in managing surgical patients and preferably have previously supervised students.
The inpatient caseload will be in a range of units including Colorectal surgery and Respiratory Medicine. This role will also be the primary cover for either ICU/ Head & Neck or Upper GI surgery.
The dietitian will work closely with a cohesive and integrated team committed to excellence in clinical practice, research and professional development. The team values CARES - Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Safety.
