About the Opportunity

We are seeking an individual to fill the role of Operational Services Officer, providing operational support to ensure high-quality function service delivery and achievement of strategic objectives. The position is responsible for meal production, service, and delivery in the hospital kitchen, ensuring safe evidence-based food and nutritional service to all inpatients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meal production, service, and delivery in the hospital kitchen.
  • Ensure safe evidence-based food and nutritional service to all inpatients.
  • Provide operational support to achieve strategic objectives.

Requirements:

  • A basic understanding of food hygiene principles and completion of or willingness to undertake training in Certificate II in Health Care is highly desirable.
  • Frequent and repetitive lifting and manual handling of goods is required.
  • Flexible roster arrangements including weekends and evenings may be necessary.
  • This role involves a risk of exposure to Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD).
