The Customer Relationship Officer role is a key position in our branch network, and we're looking for someone who can provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with our customers.

As a Customer Relationship Officer, you will be responsible for providing a seamless branch experience by meeting customers' end-to-end banking needs across transaction activities, exploring their needs and circumstances, and providing consumer lending and other financial solutions relevant to their lifestyle.

You will demonstrate a high level of ownership, based on building strong relationships with new and existing customers and the wider community.

You will actively engage our customers to explore the best products and services to suit their needs, and you will be comfortable working in a changing environment as we adapt to digitization and educate and support our customers with their digital literacy and online banking needs.

This is a great career opportunity and will ideally suit someone who wants to further develop their skills in the consumer lending space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers
  • Meet customers' end-to-end banking needs across transaction activities
  • Explore customers' needs and circumstances and provide consumer lending and other financial solutions
  • Actively engage customers to explore the best products and services to suit their needs

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales results through solutions that truly meet customers' needs
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers face-to-face and over the phone
  • The ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
  • A high level of banking product knowledge, including transactions accounts, insurance, term deposits, and credit cards
  • Experience in consumer lending and the banking and finance industry (a plus, but not essential)
