About the Role

This Behaviour Support position is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives.

As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will assist in implementing behaviour support plans and interventions under the guidance of a senior practitioner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and record data on client progress and behaviours
  • Provide one-on-one support to clients in various settings
  • Collaborate with supervising practitioners to modify strategies based on client needs
  • Promote client independence and skill development through positive reinforcement
  • Maintain professional and ethical standards in all interactions

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Disability Support, Community Services, Psychology, Education, or related field
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or challenging behaviours preferred
  • Understanding of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles is an advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Current Working with Children Check and Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid driver's license and own transport
