Lead Product Experience Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced lead to shape the user experience of our next-generation products.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work on groundbreaking technology that is driving innovation. You will have the chance to own the design strategy, research, and implementation of a new SaaS product's user interface, taking full ownership of defining user journeys and UI elements.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts, to craft intuitive and impactful experiences for our users.

You will be responsible for conducting user research and workshops to gather insights on customer needs, pain points, and behaviours, and incorporating these findings into data-driven design decisions.

  • Design Leadership: Own the end-to-end design process, from discovery to detailed implementation, ensuring consistent, high-quality experiences across our platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate customer and business problems to user-centred, intuitive experiences.
  • User-Centric Research: Conduct user research and workshops to gather insights on customer needs, pain points, and behaviours, and incorporate these findings into data-driven design decisions.
  • Design Systems Development: Create and maintain a cohesive design system to maintain consistency and accessibility while working closely with front-end engineers to streamline component library implementation.
  • Mentorship and Team Growth: Guide junior designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and high-quality craftsmanship within the team.

You will also be responsible for advocating for UX and shaping product strategy, championing the importance of UX across the organization, influencing stakeholders, and reinforcing the voice of the customer to support product goals and improve overall user experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showing end-to-end design work, technical proficiency in Figma, and the ability to mentor junior team members and business stakeholders.
