About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Student Acquisition Strategist to join our senior leadership team at Swinburne University of Technology.

Job Description:
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance Swinburne's reputation and drive sustainable student demand locally and internationally.
  • Leverage expertise in higher education trends, student acquisition, marketing, and digital transformation to deliver results-driven outcomes.
  • Lead a high-performing team responsible for all aspects of student recruitment, admissions, and marketing.
  • Custodian of the Swinburne brand, ensuring its resonance with prospective students and alignment with market needs and university strategic goals.
About You
  • Proven track record in higher education marketing, recruitment, or related areas, with extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of global student recruitment trends, digital marketing, branding, and market analysis.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategies that disrupt markets, build brand and reputation, and drive student demand.
  • Qualifications: relevant postgraduate qualification and extensive management and leadership experience.
Salary and Benefits

An attractive salary of approximately $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, plus 17% superannuation, will be offered to the successful candidate.
