About the Opportunity

Launch Housing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to oversee the Case Management team at our East St Kilda Women's Crisis Accommodation site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our case managers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and supervision to the Case Management team, ensuring the provision of consistent and high-quality services.
  • Coordinate the induction and training of new staff members, facilitating ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Ensure team compliance with Launch Housing policies, procedures, and relevant legislative requirements.
  • Assist in managing critical incidents and other risks that arise at the facility, in accordance with Launch Housing policy and DFFH requirements.
  • Participate in the on-call roster, providing support to other sites as needed.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (desirable).
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering services to clients with complex needs, including those who are pregnant and experiencing homelessness.
  • Sound understanding of housing and homelessness policy, context, and systems.
  • Ability to work effectively with people experiencing complex life stress and trauma.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills.
