We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Affairs Professional to join our team at Heng & Hurst. As a key member of our medical affairs team, you will play a critical role in establishing partnerships with key opinion leaders who treat diseases and help their patients to live better lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and foster purposeful partnerships with key scientific influencers based on local ecosystem dynamics to drive new sources of patient value.
  • Support and execute medical strategy, focusing on pre-launch activities predominantly in NSW and VIC.
  • Influence the decision makers in this space and educate external and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with clinical trial sites and support the team on the journey to get the products to market.
  • Participate in numerous conferences and represent the company.
  • Use strong scientific data to build advocacy.
  • Maintain the highest level of knowledge across all competing products.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualifications in Scientific or Healthcare field.
  • PhD, Masters, or Honours in Science (preferred).
  • Several years of ANZ pharmaceutical experience in Medical Affairs. (Medical Science Liaison experience highly regarded)
  • Strong scientific acumen and understanding of therapeutic areas such as Immunology, Haematology, Neurology, Rheumatology or Rare Disease.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
