Broadcast Network Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Broadcast Network Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our broadcast infrastructure, you will be responsible for ensuring the resilience, security, and performance of our live broadcast systems.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with IP networking, video-over-IP, and hybrid cloud environments. You will work closely with our Broadcast Services team to support day-to-day operations, troubleshoot network issues, and contribute to the delivery of complex technology projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Administration: Configure and maintain IP networks, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Video Distribution: Ensure the secure and reliable distribution of high-quality video content over IP networks.
  • Cloud Integration: Integrate cloud-based services into our hybrid environment, ensuring seamless collaboration and data sharing.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Technical Expertise: Foundational to intermediate knowledge of broadcast network technologies, including IP networking, video-over-IP, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Collaboration: Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours and support live operations, with a calm and composed demeanor under pressure.
