\Description:\

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Manager to lead our human service initiatives. The successful candidate will have strong program management experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to provide strategic advice on complex issues.

\Key Responsibilities:\
  • \
  • Provide high-level program management advice and direction in relation to human service initiatives.\
  • Identify information from a wide range of sources and provide strategic analysis and advice on complex operation program, policy and legislative issues.\
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations to deliver on project outcomes that support the department's capacity to deliver and maintain quality services.\
  • Ensure that service delivery arrangements support the department's program and strategic intent.\
  • Develop, manage and implement projects and programs that support the effective delivery of services relevant to the business unit.\
  • Provide liaison, consultation and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders towards the development and implementation of whole-of-government policy and program initiatives.\
  • Provide high level analysis, advice and recommendations of innovative approaches to new trends and issues that impact on service delivery for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and their families.\
  • Prepare policy, procedural, practice and case specific advice in support of departmental responses to requests for information from oversight bodies.\
