Wireless Telecommunications Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Wireless Telecommunications Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning and testing telecommunications equipment.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Installation and commissioning experience with fixed and wireless network equipment
  • Proficiency in BTS equipment installation and commissioning
  • Ability to assemble, erect, position and label various types of equipment
  • Experience in installing, testing and maintaining telecommunications transmission equipment
  • Familiarity with telecommunications software applications
  • Demonstrated ability in fault diagnosis

To succeed in this role, applicants will require:

  • Telecommunications industry experience (3 – 5 years)
  • Working at height certification
  • Construction Industry white card
  • RF awareness certification
  • First aid certification
  • Current drivers licence
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
  • Sound computing skills
