As a Mine Site Cleaner Supervisor, you play a pivotal role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of mine sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean communal buildings and facilities on the mine site, including offices, training rooms, crib huts, wash rooms, locker rooms, and bath houses.
- Perform waste removal, power washing pathways, and light grounds work.
- Work in an active and physically demanding role, with 10-12 hour days.
- Train new employees to ensure a smooth transition.
- Conduct effective prestart meetings, address performance issues, promote safe behaviors, investigate and report hazards/incidents and injuries.
- Prepare and submit performance reports and field leadership documentation.
- Hold supervisor certificates, such as S123 & G2 – Require experience as a supervisor or relevant role.
- Demonstrate advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be proficient in computer skills, including all Microsoft applications.
- Adhere to a flexible roster, subject to change due to operational requirements.
- Have reliable transport and a backup plan in case of an issue.
- Present yourself professionally, with a neat and tidy appearance.
- Be prepared for extreme weather conditions in Central QLD.
