Salary and Benefits

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled Pastry Chefs to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Pastry Chef at MERIVALE, you will be responsible for preparing pastry products including doughs, pastry fillings, cakes, buns, biscuits, and bread, as well as baking, shaping, and decorating pastry and bread products.

  • You will need 2+ years of relevant experience in the industry, with knowledge of HACCP, hygiene practices, and WH&S.
  • Good communication skills, attitude, and ability to work as part of a team are essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 2+ years of experience working in a quality restaurant, patisserie, cafe or hotel.
  • Able to operate large machines including mixers, ovens, dough forming machines.
  • Familiarity with recipes and accurate measurement of ingredients.
