About Quality Systems Roles:

We're looking for an experienced professional to lead our quality systems. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in implementing and maintaining our quality systems.

As a Quality Systems Lead, your main responsibilities include:

  • Internal Auditing: Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with our quality policies and procedures.
  • HACCP Support: Provide support to the HACCP team to ensure that all products are manufactured in accordance with our quality system requirements.
  • Document Management and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all documents and records are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Non-Conformance Reporting: Investigate and report any non-conformances to ensure that corrective actions are taken promptly.
  • Maintaining Product Holds and Records: Ensure that all product holds and records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in our quality systems.
  • Key Improvement Initiatives: Lead assigned key improvement initiatives to drive continuous improvement in our quality systems.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with HACCP: You should have experience working with HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) principles and practices.
  • Internal and External Compliance Audits: You should have experience conducting internal and external compliance audits.
  • Food Manufacturing Industry Experience: You should have 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Computer Skills: You should be proficient in using computer software, including web-based applications, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to enable effective collaboration with individuals at all organisational levels.
  • Formal Qualifications: Formal qualifications in Food Science are highly regarded but not essential.
  • Attention to Detail: You should have excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Safe Work Practices: You should commit to safe work practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: You should have a proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
