Dental Health Professional

We are seeking a skilled Dental Health Professional to provide essential dental care services with a focus on preventive and therapeutic measures. The ideal candidate will work closely with patients, promoting oral health and providing treatment for various dental conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough dental examinations and assess oral health conditions accurately.
  • Develop personalized care plans for each patient based on their specific needs.
  • Perform routine dental hygiene procedures such as scaling, root planning, and applying topical fluorides and sealants effectively.
  • Collaborate with dentists to provide restorative dental treatments as prescribed.
  • Take and interpret dental radiographs to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Utilize 3D scans of patients' teeth to create comprehensive treatment plans and present them to dental professionals for review.
  • Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment processes, costs, timelines, and expected outcomes.
  • Educate patients on maintaining optimal oral health through proper techniques and habits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records with detailed documentation of treatments and care provided.
  • Work collaboratively with dental professionals, assistants, and other healthcare experts to deliver high-quality dental care.
  • Assist patients with financial arrangements and payment processes for their treatment.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and responding to inquiries efficiently.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Oral Health or equivalent recognized by relevant authorities.
  • Registration with the Dental Board of Australia via the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Proficiency in using modern dental software and radiographic equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse patients and colleagues.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional development to stay updated on best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in adult scope is preferred but not mandatory.
