Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining slurry pumps, valves, and hydrocyclones in the Goldfields Region and greater WA mining area.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Repairing and refurbishing used pumps
  • Assembling new pumps in our Kalgoorlie service facility
  • Supporting Metso Pump Trials in field
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Mechanical trade qualification with at least 2 years' experience
  • Experience with maintenance and/or rebuild/assembly of slurry pumps
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, drawings, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
