About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Team Leader to join our Beverages Department at the Sanitarium Berkeley Vale Manufacturing Facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive and collaborative leadership to a team of approximately 30 operators.
  • Maintain connections with team members through exceptional communication.
  • Lead safety initiatives, including incident and hazard management.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and performance management.
  • Ensure line operation processes are followed to a high standard.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety and quality standards.
  • Analyse reporting, identify opportunities, and develop strategies to improve results.
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting line operation issues and escalating when needed.
  • Manage workflows and staffing needs.
  • Identify and develop future talent.
  • Coordinate team member training and development.
  • Support recruitment processes as required.
  • Facilitate team meetings.
Shift Options

The available positions are on a permanent afternoon or night shift roster. Afternoon Shift operates 3pm-11pm Monday - Thursday and 10am-4pm on a Friday and attracts a 15% shift loading. Night Shift operates 1am-7am Monday morning and 11pm-7am Monday night to Thursday night. Night Shift attracts a 30% shift loading.

Requirements
  • Experience leading large frontline teams (approx. 20+ team members).
  • Leadership experience in food or beverage manufacturing.
  • Strong commitment to Workplace Health and Safety.
  • Ability to drive a constructive culture.
  • Commitment to coaching and developing team members.
  • Ability to communicate with different levels of stakeholders.
  • Commitment to team engagement and recognition.
  • Leadership qualifications would be advantageous.
