The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing transportation logistics related to assets and inventory within the company. This role involves managing a team assigned to the logistics cost center to ensure efficient and flexible delivery of operational needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying opportunities to reduce overall project costs and schedules
- Scheduling logistics for AN/ANE and matching transport and raw material costs
- Managing company vehicles, including registrations, cost allocations, insurance claims, and GPS tracking systems
- Preparing project reports, including forecast costs and schedules, progress, and variances to plan
- Procuring and disposing of new and old assets
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the drilling and blast/mining sectors
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ISO requirements
- Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple processes
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills
This position may require travel to various sites across Australia.
The right candidate will have a strong background in logistics and asset management, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
