At our leading-edge mining operation, we're seeking a seasoned Underground Fixed Plant Mechanic to join our skilled workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Executing maintenance tasks in the underground area as directed by supervisors.
  • Maintaining UG and in pit dewatering pumping systems, compressors, primary ventilation, refuge chambers, and fixed plant assets underground and in the mining areas.
  • Availability to work a callout roster basis to respond to any equipment breakdowns.

About You:

  • A strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • A relevant mechanical trade qualification with proven fitting experience.
  • Experience in maintaining pumping and ventilation systems or heavy industrial plants, preferably in the mining industry.
  • The ability to work underground and in pit locations.
  • Proficiency in working as part of a multi-skilled team.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Possession of mobile crane CN, dogging DG, rigger basic RB, elevated work platform WP, and forklift LF high-risk work licenses are highly regarded.
  • Current confined space entry & working at heights certificate.
  • Current C-Class Drivers License.
  • Existing working rights in Australia (mandatory).
