Underground Mining Driller

We are seeking an experienced Driller to join our underground mining operations. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about safety and committed to ensuring a safe working environment.
About the RoleThis position involves ensuring compliance with relevant safety codes and regulations, accurately drilling longholes to design pattern using mechanised drill, reading and following mine instruction plans with precision, communicating with surveyors, geologists, and engineers to optimise drill patterns, and setting up and troubleshooting longhole drill rigs.
Requirements- A proven passion for safety and proactive attitude towards ensuring safety;
- Experience training a national workforce;
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in underground mining and as an underground longhole driller;
- Knowledge of underground mining practices and efficient operation of underground longhole machines;
- High organisational skills and ability to work efficiently with limited supervision.
