About Underground Drilling Opportunities
We are seeking skilled professionals to work as Longhole Drillers in Canada. As a Longhole Driller, you will be responsible for accurately drilling longholes to a design pattern using mechanised drills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations is essential.
- You should have the ability to read and follow mine instruction plans with precision.
- Effective communication with surveyors, geologists, and engineers is crucial to optimise drill patterns and metres.
- Setup and troubleshooting of Longhole Drill rigs are also key responsibilities.
- Accessing face conditions and scaling from height according to site requirements is necessary.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated passion for safety and a proactive attitude towards ensuring safety are top priorities.
- You must have experience in training a national workforce.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in Underground Mining Industry is required.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience solely as an Underground Longhole Driller is necessary.
- You should have knowledge of Underground Mining Practices and efficient operation of an Underground Longhole Machine.
- You should be highly organised and able to work efficiently with limited supervision.
