Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced ESG Consultant to join our team in Sydney. As a Senior Sustainability Advisor, you will play a key role in leading the delivery of projects from strategy through to execution and supporting the development and enhancement of tools, processes, and practices.

This is a client-facing consulting role that utilizes your ESG/sustainability expertise background. You will be managing individual and team workload, leveraging your strong project management skills and demonstrating a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service outcomes for all clients.

You will work across a range of clients in both the public and private sectors. Some examples of the types of projects that you will be part of include:

  • Developing strategies or delivering bespoke solutions to address client ESG opportunities and challenges.
  • Carrying out an ESG Health Check to understand the current state of an organization.
  • Developing a client Strategy and Roadmap to be able to set and achieve ESG targets.
  • Developing a sustainability report for an organization.
  • Assisting an association to develop a holistic ESG Strategy and Roadmap for its members.
  • Supporting stakeholders to develop solutions that support the circular economy.

What you'll need to succeed:

We are looking for someone with a generalist consulting background and experience across multiple sectors and engagement types, with a track record of delivery. This will suit someone from the professional services industry with around 3-4 years consulting experience.

  • Sound knowledge of the ESG and sustainability space and experience in delivering solutions for clients in response to ESG challenges.
  • Demonstrable experience and ability to work with senior stakeholders across a broad range of clients.
  • Ability to challenge clients thoughtfully, while developing relationships to support their ESG aspirations.
  • An aptitude to grasp new concepts and effectively produce results.
  • Well-developed core consulting skills (research, analysis, presentation, and attention to detail).
  • Ability to build rapport and relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Proactivity and experience building structures and processes within a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and innovative culture focused on developing strategic solutions that create long-term value for clients.
