Job Title: Youth Welfare Specialist

Our team is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Welfare Specialist to join our efforts in safeguarding and supporting children and families.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child protection policies, experience working with vulnerable populations, and excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and providing support to foster carers, adoptive parents, and families in need.

This role requires a degree in Social Work or an equivalent qualification, registration with the relevant regulatory body, and experience in areas such as safeguarding, child protection, fostering, family support, or adoption. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans that address the unique needs of each case.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to foster carers, adoptive parents, and families.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing service improvements.
Requirements:
