Westpac is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Group Reporting & Analytics (GR&A) function. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing data-driven insights to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform data analysis, data modeling, and data profiling of large data sources to communicate results to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key business partners to ensure clear and effective communication.
- Support and enhance the BAU regulatory reporting processes.
- Promote a greater awareness and deeper understanding of data analytics to ensure leaders have a good understanding of the value of data-driven analysis and decision-making.
- Previous experience as a data analyst with a strong command of SQL and experience with data warehouses (Teradata or similar).
- Experience with data visualization and data storytelling using Tableau, Power BI, or other business intelligence tools.
- Attention to detail and emphasis on data quality checking.
- Experience working in an Agile environment including use of JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
