About the Role

The Department of Education is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to lead and optimize data-focused work to provide improved service for the organisation and support strategic decision-making. This position is part of a multidisciplinary, collaborative team that works with teams across SINSW and NSW Department of Education to support infrastructure projects state-wide.

About School Infrastructure

School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school. This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.

About the Senior Analyst Role

The Senior Analyst will develop, implement, and deliver data, reporting and analytics across a range of educational projects and school learning environment initiatives to inform evidence-based decision-making. This includes combining data from multiple sources into useable models, and digitalisation of workstreams to streamline and automate the processes.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement data-driven solutions to support strategic decision-making
* Collaborate with teams across SINSW and NSW Department of Education to support infrastructure projects state-wide
* Develop and maintain data models and reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making
* Provide data insights and recommendations to support evidence-based decision-making

Requirements

* Demonstrated experience in undertaking quantitative and qualitative analysis, reporting and evaluation in an educational setting
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent workplace experience
* Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's and upholding the and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people
