Program Delivery Expert

The Program Delivery Expert is responsible for supporting the head of the Delivery Office in implementing strategies to achieve the Program's strategic and operational objectives.

This role involves providing guidance, planning assistance, coordination, and compliance recommendations to Delivery Team Leads and Project Managers as they proceed through the delivery lifecycle. Additionally, the Program Delivery Expert will implement, monitor, and report on strategic, operational, and project plans to inform decision making and support achievement of the Program's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake high-level support duties, including serving as a 2ic capacity for the head of the Delivery Office
  • Scheduling and arranging deep dives and facilitated sessions, Kanban activities, assisting in facilitating problem and issues workshops, anticipating issues, undertaking research, taking minutes, and monitoring implementation of outputs and actions
  • Tracking and monitoring service delivery issues and risks related to the delivery of services
  • Preparing periodic and specialized ad-hoc management reports
  • Processing financial transaction documents in accordance with policy, procedures, and relevant legislation for all applicable tasks
  • Liaising with vendors and contract resources in relation to routine contract matters
  • Assisting in the preparation of contract management tasks to support an effective transition to Business-as-Usual Operations
  • Other duties as required in accordance with strategic objectives, transition to BAU, business plans, local workload priorities, and performance management plans
  • Complying with all work, health, and safety policies and procedures and taking reasonable care for own health and safety and that of employees, contractors, and visitors who may be affected by conduct

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Advanced skills in presentation preparation through PowerPoint or other common tools
  • Ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities
  • Advanced reporting skills including reporting through Power BI
  • Attention to detail
