Dedicated Speech Pathology Leader Wanted
Empower individuals to live a quality life by joining our dedicated team as a Speech Pathologist.
About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and passionate Regional Team Lead to provide localised support to our Hunter based Speech Pathology team. You will balance maintaining your own reduced caseload along with supporting new Grads and early career clinicians, assisting them to achieve their goals through supervision, guidance and mentorship.
As a community-based clinician, you will predominantly see clients in their homes, group homes, aged care facilities or in public settings that suit them best. Our diverse role offers you a mix of flexible work arrangements, including working from home, offices or on-site appointments, ensuring you can maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Some of our team members schedule a full day of client visits one day, followed by a work-from-home day or an office day to prepare reports, develop resources and attend training sessions. Or, you can mix things up depending on your preferences.
A community role is ideal for someone who values genuine flexibility and control over their days, allowing you to pursue other interests such as sports, volunteering or part-time roles without compromise.
The role can be structured as full-time or part-time, with a waterfront office in Newcastle offering convenient free parking. Depending on your location, we can tailor your caseload to service clients around Maitland, Newcastle or Lake Macquarie.
Requirements:- An approved qualification in Speech Pathology and SPA registration
- A current driver's license with use of your own vehicle
- NDIS Workers Screening and WWCC
- Prior managerial or supervisory experience
We foster a positive team environment where you can bring your unique skills and personality to work every day.
We value flexibility, remuneration that matches your experience and options for RDOs and financial bonuses if desired.
You'll have a laptop and phone/data allowance to support remote work, and our administrative team will assist with travel arrangements and compliance tasks.
We offer discounted health insurance for you and your family, plus everyday savings on energy bills, online shopping and groceries.
An Employee Assistance Program provides external, confidential support when needed.
Our wellbeing program includes monthly social events, previously featuring activities like mini golf, ten pin bowling, wheelchair basketball and team-building exercises.
You'll receive a comprehensive orientation, in-house training and ongoing field shadowing days with our Head of Discipline for Speech and Clinical Manager.
Moving forward, you'll enjoy regular one-on-one meetings with your manager to design your personal learning plan, addressing areas like leadership development or tailored clinical expertise.
You'll also participate in monthly team meetings with fellow Speech Pathologists to share ideas, resources and industry updates.
We provide two paid CPD leave days annually for external training and opportunities to broaden your clinical knowledge through liaison with other healthcare professionals.
Our annual company-wide training conference brings together the entire business and invites external presenters for each discipline.
