We are currently seeking experienced Pathology Specimen Collectors to join our Home Visits Team to service the Newcastle and surrounding areas. Casual positions available.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Pathology Specimen Collectors to join our Home Visits Team in Melbourne. Your main duties will include collecting blood and other specimens, performing ECGs, and Holter monitoring in domestic and aged care settings.

Skills and Experience

Venepuncture experience with vacutainer method - minimum 2 years required.

  • Collection of blood and samples from patients in residential and aged care facilities.
  • Experience with ECGs and Holter monitors.
  • Processing of pathology specimens.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Clerical duties and paperwork processing.
  • Current NSW driver's license.
  • Effective communication with team, doctors, and patients.
  • Dedication to patient care and service delivery.
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
  • Compliance with Work Health and Safety regulations.
