Job Title: Technical Support Specialist
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity is for a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support to users, ensuring that IT services are supported and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide first-level technical support to users via phone, email, and chat platforms.
- Record and update incidents and service requests in accordance with established procedures.
- Monitor telephone queues and respond to calls within specified timeframes.
- Collaborate with IT management teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Microsoft Operating System support (Windows 10 & 11).
- Microsoft Office Application support.
- User administration using Active Directory, etc.
- Experience working in an ITIL framework.
- Familiarity with applications deployed via Citrix.
- Knowledge of Lotus Notes and Office 365.
- Understanding of mainframe (ZOS) and PSeries (AIX) operating systems.
- Familiarity with retail systems, including point-of-sale equipment.
- Experience with warehouse management systems and financial systems.
