Job Title: Skilled Tradesperson - Maintenance Fitter We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will have a strong background in maintenance fitting fields, with experience working on plant, equipment and buildings in a production environment. Key Responsibilities: 
  • Prioritise all manner of works (preventative, corrective, capital & emergency), projects, timeframes, stock control/levels and ability to obtain quotes while making responsible and accurate recommendations and produce an effective work output in terms of both quality and quantity without supervision.
  • Work effectively and safely as a member of a team or individually, and experience liaising with service contractors and interacting, communicating and negotiating effectively with all manner of stakeholders at all levels.
  • Effectively investigate problems, provide options and implement suitable solutions utilising skill sets obtained through trade qualifications.
  • Complete and obtain certificates of competency for all relevant/required training courses the business requires you to hold during employment.
  • Provide and participate in on-call rosters and complete out of hours works where required.
 Requirements: 
  • Possession of a Queensland recognised Fitting Qualification & Certificate - Certificate III in Engineering (Fitting and Turning or Mechanical Fitter) or equivalent.
  • Valid Working at Heights competency
    Valid Confined Space Entry competency
    Valid LVR/CPR
    Steam competancies
    A Boiler Licence would be highly desired.
