Project Manager Role

We seek a competent project manager with experience in managing water projects efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities to achieve project time and budget objectives.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who can bring energy, experience, and new ideas to improve continuously. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, team-focused, and result-driven via effective prioritization and time management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage on-site construction activities to achieve project time and budget objectives
  • Oversee project teams to ensure efficient delivery of projects
  • Develop and implement project plans to meet client requirements
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in a relevant construction qualification or trade certificate
  • Previous experience in a similar position - Leading Hand or Supervisor
  • Experience in Water projects is essential; in the water/wastewater industry is an advantage
  • Willing to travel, work away, and/or remotely if required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project etc)
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong attention to planning and programming the works
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and people management skills
  • Commitment, energy, drive
  • Proven track record of working to strict deadlines
