In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our stores. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that the shop floor, walls, bathrooms, trolley bays, and team room are clean and free of litter.
Your Responsibilities- You will complete tasks allocated to you in the daily planner, which may include sweeping the shop floor, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays, and team rooms, as well as emptying bins.
- You will collect trolleys from the car park and surrounding areas on foot.
- You will work across departments to deliver specific cleaning needs.
- You will assist customers in store by answering questions or providing directions.
- You will receive full training in operating various equipment and tools designed to make your job easier and safer.
- You should have an ambitious mindset and a passion for retail.
- You should be physically fit, as this role involves physically demanding tasks.
- You should be able to stand for long periods and lift loads between 5-10kgs.
- You should be flexible and able to work in different environments, such as the shop floor, fridges, freezers, and carparks.
- You should be available to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 5pm.
- You should have a good eye for cleanliness and attention to detail.
