Clinical Nurse Manager Position

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to provide high-quality patient care in our hospital. This is a permanent part-time, fixed-term part-time or casual appointment for 45 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing after-hours administration and bed management, demonstrating leadership and role modelling, and promoting and ensuring maintenance of clinical standards of quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert nursing leadership and guidance to healthcare teams.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for improving patient outcomes.
  • Promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the hospital.

Requirements:

  • Current registration as a nurse with the relevant health authority.
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Master of Nursing).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital setting.
