Job Overview:

A Payroll Officer is a key role within an organization, responsible for managing payroll processes and ensuring accuracy and compliance. This position involves working with a team to contribute to the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process high-volume end-to-end payroll transactions
  • Develop and maintain payroll system documentation and workflows
  • Respond to internal and external payroll inquiries in a professional and confidential manner
  • Support month-end and finance-related payroll activities
  • Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams on broader initiatives

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in payroll management within a medium to large organization
  • Strong understanding of Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and payroll legislation
  • Experience with Chris 21 software is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
