- Collaborate with People Services and operational teams to resolve payroll queries, clarify entitlements, and improve staff access to payroll information.
- Ensure accurate preparation and submission of payroll reports, superannuation, and statutory compliance obligations.
- Work closely with Finance and external auditors to support payroll-related reporting and audit requirements.
- Identify opportunities to enhance payroll processes, improve efficiency, and support broader organisational priorities.
This role is suited to someone who is organised, collaborative, and thrives in a people-focused environment. Your ability to lead with clarity, provide trusted payroll advice, and support employees and managers across the organisation will be central to your success.- Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll in a complex, multi-site environment-ideally within aged care, health, or community services.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, including the Fair Work Act, Aged Care Act, and relevant industrial instruments.
- A confident and supportive leader, able to guide teams and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to process improvement.
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally with employees and stakeholders at all levels.
- High standards of confidentiality, discretion, and accuracy.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and reporting tools; experience with TechnologyOne and rostering platforms such as Humanforce is desirable but not essential.
