Senior Accountant Managerial Role

We seek an experienced Senior Accountant ready to step into a managerial position.

In this hands-on role, you will gain valuable commercial and practical insights while supporting a diverse client base.

This senior role offers:

This position will be responsible for assisting clients by overseeing a small team to prepare financial and management accounting reports and tax compliance obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Processing and reviewing financial statements
  • Preparing management reports
  • Preparing review of entities income tax and BAS/IAS returns
  • Preparing interim financial accounts and providing tax planning proposals
  • Preparing and analysing management reports
  • Preparation, analysis, and review of accounts
  • Financial data presentation
  • Reviewing work of team members
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A CA or CPA qualification or working towards this
  • 5 years experience working in an Australian Public Practice firm
  • Proficient in Xero and MYOB
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Extremely organised
  • Must be a team player
  • Loves to take initiative and work independently
  • Able to build trust and relationships with clients
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Able to adapt to change and work in a pleasant environment
