We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead and oversee a range of essential functions, ensuring the financial integrity of our organisation.

This exciting opportunity provides the chance to work closely with a high-performing leadership team and contribute to the delivery of robust financial services across the organisation.

You will be responsible for managing a range of financial processes, including general financial reporting, asset accounting, statutory reporting and policy development.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a similar finance role.
  • Experience in financial reporting, forecasting and preparation of financial statements.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of financial systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn, problem solve and contribute to a highly collaborative environment.

Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline are essential. Previous experience in local government would be highly regarded.
