Looking for a dynamic and innovative Senior Lifestyle Fashion Designer to join our creative team.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lifestyle Fashion Designer who can bring creativity, passion, and attention to detail to our product development process. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for researching and developing new seasonal trends and prints for our children's coastal lifestyle and accessory brand.

Your role will involve working collaboratively with our Brand Manager to identify and implement the latest fashion trends and styles. You will also be responsible for leading the design and development process, ensuring that all creative requirements, technical standards, and critical dates are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research:
  • Create inspirational mood boards and trend direction in collaboration with the Brand Manager
  • Travel locally and internationally to stay up-to-date with the latest trends
  • Research web and social media to stay informed about industry developments
  • Design:
  • Develop new seasonal apparel collections with innovative techniques and quality functional products
  • Collaborate with print houses and graphic design teams to oversee and implement print sourcing, concept development, and direction
  • Responsible for print execution in swimwear and accessory collections
  • Work closely with the Brand Manager to understand past sales data and identify opportunities for growth and evolution
  • Critical Path Management & Ownership to achieve company timelines across all processes & categories
  • Sourcing, designing and developing all quality fabrications, raw materials, blocks, trims, linings
  • Creative design and development of all branding requirements including labels, hardware, embroideries and trims
Requirements
  • 5+ years experience as a senior designer in the Accessory or Apparel industry
  • Demonstrated experience in all aspects of product design and ability to bring the product to market
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite
  • PLM experience highly regarded
  • Strong communication, mentoring, and management skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • International travel experience and ability to work on the ground with international vendors and factories
