Job Description

Georgiou is seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to join our Midland Junction Alliance project. As a result of our significant growth, this role presents an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to lead a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage earthworks activities, road and rail formation construction, pavements construction, drainage, and finishing works relating to civil construction.
  • Monitor part of a project to ensure timely delivery on budget and quality standards.
  • Liaise with subcontractor supervisors on ongoing works.
  • Manage works in accordance with the Project Management Plan.
  • Maintain a strong focus on personal and team safety through our 'Safety is My Way' initiative.
  • Ensure your team is fully skilled and has the required resources to meet productivity targets.
  • Drive productivity and manage the performance of your team and subcontractors.
  • Lead and coordinate labor, plant, materials, and subcontractors daily.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and government authorities.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Conduct and participate in site meetings (toolboxes, pre-starts, inductions, and other health and safety requirements).
About the Role

We are offering a competitive salary package of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus access to Georgiou Perks platform providing discounts to multiple retailers. Requirements:
  • Previous experience as an earthworks supervisor or similar position in civil construction.
  • Strong ability to monitor a section of work and co-ordinate resources to deliver on time and budget, while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • An engaging and driven leader with experience driving high standards of work and safety.
  • Previous experience managing a large work crew.
  • Competence in planning projects and recording progress.
  • Strong IT and communication skills.
  • Excellent safety record.
