Women and Girls Experience Lead

The Women and Girls Experience Lead will play a pivotal role in executing Victoria's strategic actions and initiatives as part of the AFL Women & Girls Game Development Action Plan. The plan aims to increase participation and representation of women and girls across all facets of the game.

This position will be instrumental in delivering key objectives, including:

  • Developing and implementing effective strategies to engage and retain female participants
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to drive program growth and development
  • Providing exceptional support to ensure a high-quality experience for women and girls involved in the program

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development and implementation of programs and initiatives aimed at increasing female participation
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including community groups, schools, and sporting organizations
  • Providing coaching and mentoring to support the growth and development of female players and officials

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., sports management, education, community development)
  • Proven experience in a similar role or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
