About the Role:

Experienced Disability Support Workers are needed to support clients in 24/7 care in the Outer Eastern suburbs of Melbourne - Ferntree Gully, Balwyn, Ringwood.

Support will be provided to clients who prefer clear boundaries, structured routines, and clear communication.

The ideal candidate will be assertive and calm under pressure, while also being encouraging and understanding.

A strong listener who is able to prompt and promote independence and engagement, you will be a key part of helping them live an independent and fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting with personal care tasks such as showering, toileting, and dressing
  • Engaging in activities outside the home that the client enjoys
  • Preparing simple, nutritious meals
  • Providing transport and mobility assistance
  • Assisting with light cleaning tasks around the home when needed
  • Managing medication safely and effectively
