Job Title: Support Worker for Independent Living

We are seeking a support worker to join our team in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria.

About the Role

This role involves supporting individuals with physical disabilities to live independently. As a support worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care and assisting with daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care, including manual handling and assistance with bathing, dressing and toileting
  • Assisting with daily tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Supporting individuals with their goals and aspirations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good judgement and common sense
  • Listening skills
  • A willingness to learn and commit to our values

Experience working with people with physical disabilities is essential. PEG feeding, catheter care and bowel care experience is a bonus but not necessary.

You will be working varied short shifts, including day support, community access, in-home evening support and home duties. You will also need to commit to ongoing shifts (more than twice weekly).
