Child Protection Specialist Role

This is a challenging and dynamic position that demands a high level of legal knowledge and understanding of the child protection system.

  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • You will be working closely with colleagues across the organization to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
  • A key aspect of this role is to create and maintain records, including client records in accordance with relevant legislation.
  • You will also be required to support and mentor other team members in the performance of their role and functions as needed.
  • Another important responsibility is to undertake research and provide advice to the Manager on issues of law, policy and practice relating to the rights and interests of children and young people in the child protection system.
