Child Protection SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Child Protection Specialist to join our High Risk Team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring appropriate information sharing and risk management in accordance with the Domestic and Family Violence Common Risk and Safety Framework.Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and support to High Risk Team members on child protection practices and risk management actions.
  • Contribute productively as our representative on high risk cases, ensuring timely implementation of actions by us.
  • Demonstrate strategic insight, collaboration, and leadership within the complex authorising environment of the High Risk multidisciplinary team.
  • Establish and maintain productive multiagency working relationships that promote collaboration and integrated responses to domestic and family violence cases.
  • Support organisational implementation of regional integrated services responses to DFV.
  • Participate in continuous learning, training, and professional development to promote contemporary best practice in child protection and domestic and family violence prevention.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in child protection and domestic and family violence prevention.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with the Domestic and Family Violence Common Risk and Safety Framework.
