About the Opportunity

The Executive Manager Program Management will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer of ASC Pty Limited. This role will provide leadership to a team of professionals, contributing executive-level program and project leadership, strategy, and business acumen to cross-functional project teams. The role operates in a complex enterprise environment involving the Department of Finance, Royal Australian Navy, the Naval Shipbuilding Sustainment Group, key ASC stakeholders, and other industry partners and associated organisations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to a team of professionals, contributing executive-level program and project leadership, strategy, and business acumen to cross-functional project teams.
  • Manage frameworks for best practice, policy, process, and reporting across the business.
  • Champion the Project Management capability and associated excellence in all its key tenets, with a strong focus on Governance.
  • Lead the application of continuous improvement methods and lean techniques to identify cost savings and process improvements.
  • Identify and assess key regulatory risks, develop risk management programs, policies, and guidelines to ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements
  • Contributed executive-level program leadership, strategy formulation, and business expertise to cross-functional project teams.
  • Directed program management and leadership for multiple projects, including project alignment to business objectives, prioritization, and change management.
  • Analysed financial statements, commercial reports, and other performance data to measure productivity/goal achievement to determine programmatic efficiencies and improvement.
  • Lead the application of continuous improvement methods and lean techniques to identify cost savings and process improvements.
  • Identified and assessed key regulatory risks, developed risk management programs, policies, and guidelines to ensure regulatory compliance.
