Job Description

The Recovery Nurse role is a challenging and exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced nurse to provide high-quality patient care in the Recovery department.

  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Manage patients' recovery process, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support

Key responsibilities include providing safe and effective patient care, adhering to ACCORN standards, and promoting infection control principles.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Registered Nurse qualification with AHPRA registration
  • Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification
  • Post Graduate Certificate in peri-operative nursing (or working towards)
  • Understanding of ACCORN standards and infection control principles
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Peri-operative nursing as a Recovery/Anaesthetic Nurse
