Green Space Assistant

We are seeking an experienced green space assistant to join our gardening team.

This hands-on role involves working with plants, learning and growing in the horticultural industry.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist with garden maintenance tasks such as pruning, weeding, mulching, planting and loading/unloading materials.
  2. Operate hand tools and petrol gear safely and effectively under guidance from experienced team members.
  3. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools and equipment.
  4. Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to high standards.
  • Previous experience in landscaping, gardening or related field highly regarded.
  • Able to safely lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
