About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Intake and Assessment team. As a Team Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of the crisis response team, ensuring effective task allocation and workflow coordination to provide exceptional care for individuals affected by family violence.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management
- Manage a team of practitioners, including performing quality reviews and monthly performance evaluations.
- Be accountable for team performance and provide specialist practice knowledge and guidance as required.
- Develop the capability of your team to deliver crisis response services.
- Provide day-to-day support and supervision to frontline staff as needed.
- Track and monitor supervision targets monthly.
- Promote training and professional development within Client Services, in consultation with the Clinical Governance team.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations in the 24/7 crisis response call centre, ensuring alignment with operational guidelines and relevant risk assessment tools.
- Coordinate client movement through Safe Steps and broader FV systems to ensure achievable caseloads and workflows.
- Monitor risk and operational performance, managing data and client record system collection daily.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work or equivalent qualification.
- Extensive experience working in a 24/7 helpline environment.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing a team and coordinating services.
- Ability to maintain high-performing teams and manage performance targets within a call centre setting.
- Experience in staff support and supervision.
- Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
- Current Working with Children Check and willingness to undergo a National Police Check.
