**Job Title:** Executive Culinary Specialist

**Job Summary:** Job2Go Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Executive Culinary Specialist to lead our kitchen team in Eltham VIC.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and design innovative and seasonal menus that cater to a variety of tastes and dietary requirements.
  • Prepare, cook, and plate food to the highest quality standards.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and support their training and development.
  • Ensure kitchen operations are efficient, i.e., maintaining cleanliness, adherence to safety and sanitation regulations, and proper food handling.
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with management to create special events or themed nights to enhance customer experience.
  • Maintain relationships with food suppliers and ensure the quality of ingredients used.
  • Stay updated on current culinary trends and techniques to keep the menu innovative and exciting.
  • Maintain a positive and productive work environment through leadership and communication.

**Requirements:**

  • Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery
  • Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality
  • Prior experience preparing Italian Cuisine would be highly regarded
  • At least two (2) years of relevant prior experience as a Chef.
