Training Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Training Development Specialist to join our team in Ballarat, Australia. As a key member of our Learning & Development department, you will play a crucial role in delivering training programs to new and existing staff to achieve client and contact centre objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and facilitate new starter training and upskilling of existing team members.
  • Deliver classroom-style training programs and provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress.
  • Conduct observation, evaluation, and assessment of candidate learning outcomes and test results.
  • Support coaches with consolidation training (i.e., call taking) and reinforce the 'Learn/Do/Learn' process.

About You:

  • You must have a minimum Cert IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification.
  • You should bring passion and experience in supporting others to learn and develop, understanding and supporting different learning styles.
  • An understanding of contact centre operations is ideal.
  • You must be able to establish and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment where everyone thrives.
  • High level of integrity, intuition, and Emotional Intelligence are required.

Daily Tasks:

  • Facilitate, deliver, and support classroom-style training programs.
  • Utilize your administrative skills to support the smooth operation of training and planning.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the progress of training and any issues relevant to timely delivery of training.
